Words can move rooms long before they move systems. As a storyteller and advocate, I speak on the power of narrative — how the stories we tell (and the ones we silence) shape culture, policy, and the possibilities available to women and girls.
Speaking, for me, isn’t performance. It has purpose. Every keynote, panel, or workshop extends the work I do through the PenWarrior: using storytelling, creativity, and truth as tools for awareness and change. I’ve shared these stories and insights across the charity sector, creative industries, and corporate environments; from survivor-led conferences to workplace learning, advocacy, and networking events. Each session is a safe, thought-provoking space designed to challenge, connect, and empower.
Ideal settings include:
These are some of the themes and conversations I can bring to life:

How narratives shape movements and influence policy.

Rewriting the story on gender norms and societal expectations.

Challenging societal expectations and embracing identity beyond norms.

Addressing misconceptions and the shared responsibility to support survivors.

Recognising the hidden signs of emotional, financial, and psychological abuse.

How language, media, and society perpetuate harmful narratives.

When technology is used to control, and how survivors reclaim their space.

The role of lived experience in shaping policy, services, and social reform.

Reframing how we talk about domestic abuse to centre strength and resilience.

The media’s responsibility in telling survivor stories ethically and responsibly.

Workplaces taking domestic abuse seriously and supporting employees.

How writing, art, and digital storytelling provide pathways to recovery.
I can design talks and workshops around your audience’s specific focus.
